Charles Leclerc has reportedly taken delivery of a bespoke Riva 102' Corsaro Super worth around €15 million, adding a high-profile new yacht to his private fleet just after the Miami Grand Prix.
The Ferrari driver officially launched the vessel, reportedly named Sedici, on 7 May at Riva’s La Spezia shipyard. Leclerc attended the ceremony with his wife, Alexandra, and footage shared by Riva of Alexandra smashing a champagne bottle against the bow quickly spread on social media, drawing more than 49,000 likes and 586,000 views.
What makes the purchase stand out is that the 102-footer is not only a luxury build but a serious performance machine. The yacht is powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines producing 2,638 horsepower each, for a combined output of about 5,276 hp. That gives it a reported top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots.
The boat is also designed around stability as much as speed. At more than 30 meters long and with an approximate displacement of 100 tonnes, it uses advanced stabilization technology including lateral stabilizers and gyroscopic systems intended to reduce movement and improve comfort even in tougher sea conditions.
Its luxury specification matches the headline price. The yacht has about 140 square meters of panoramic window space and accommodation for up to 10 guests across five cabins. At the stern, a 35-square-meter beach club provides direct access to the sea, while the interior includes Poliform furnishings, Frette linens, Christofle tableware, and a master suite finished with Calacatta Vagli Oro marble and a Bang & Olufsen multimedia system.
Alberto Galassi, Ferretti Group CEO, said Leclerc’s choice of another Riva reflected the brand’s standards. “Charles’s passion for Riva, which is of course reciprocal, is a testament to quality and beauty that we welcome with boundless joy,” Galassi said. He added that Leclerc choosing “once again one of our boats” showed the 102’ Corsaro Super offered “unrivalled standards of beauty, liveability and technology.”
For Leclerc, the significance of the launch is in how closely the yacht mirrors the priorities that define top-level motorsport: performance, engineering and exclusivity, all wrapped into one of the most visible off-track purchases by a current Formula 1 driver.
