Cadillac F1 launches Terry Crews YouTube series

Cadillac Formula 1 Team has announced Crews Control, an 18-episode YouTube series hosted by actor and team ambassador Terry Crews that debuts on May 5 and is produced by Box to Box Films, the company behind Formula 1: Drive to Survive.

The project is being used to present Cadillac’s F1 entry as more than a new team on the grid. While the series is anchored around the Cadillac Formula 1 Team, it will also follow TWG Motorsports across Formula 1, IndyCar and NASCAR, giving viewers a broader look at the group’s racing operations and the culture around them.

Each episode will run for 8 to 10 minutes, with Crews traveling through stops on the Formula 1 calendar including Melbourne, Miami, Las Vegas and Austin. The series will also pull back the curtain on the Indianapolis 500 with Andretti Global and NASCAR through Spire Motorsports, widening the focus beyond Cadillac’s F1 program alone.

TWG Motorsports CEO Dan Towriss said the company was founded on the belief that motorsport carries unusual weight both in sport and in culture. He said Crews Control brings that idea to life as “a can’t-miss journey” built around the Cadillac Formula 1 Team and extending across the series in which TWG competes.

That framing is central to the series. Crews, who became a Cadillac F1 team ambassador ahead of the team’s 2026 debut, said the show is aimed at people who have not yet connected with the sport rather than viewers looking for a results recap. “Motorsport is the biggest world most Americans have never stepped inside and I’m about to change that,” he said.

He added that Crews Control “isn’t about lap times and standings. It’s about the culture, the obsession, and the people who live and breathe it. I’m bringing America into a world that’s faster, louder, and more alive than they ever imagined.”

Box to Box Films CEO Paul Martin said Crews’ role goes beyond that of a presenter. Martin said he “connects deeply with engineers, drivers and fans,” allowing the series to focus on the human stories inside the Cadillac Formula 1 Team and the wider TWG Motorsports operation.

Cadillac and TWG are also planning to extend the rollout beyond YouTube, with teasers, promotional clips and behind-the-scenes content set to run across the team’s social channels and those of its racing partners. That makes Crews Control part of a wider fan-building push around Cadillac’s arrival in Formula 1 and TWG’s effort to tie together its presence in F1, IndyCar and NASCAR for a broader audience.
