Cadillac unveils Miami home-race F1 livery

Cadillac has unveiled a one-off livery for this weekend’s Miami Grand Prix, using its first Formula 1 home race to put an American-themed design on the MAC-26 cars of Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas.

The special look keeps Cadillac’s dual-tone black-and-white base but adds a stronger Stars and Stripes identity throughout the car. Cadillac said the design weaves in Americana elements, with 50 stars on the front wing to represent each American state and a rear wing carrying “USA” in red, white and blue.

The livery is presented by primary partner TWG AI and is intended to reflect the American identity of both brands, alongside what Cadillac described as a shared commitment to innovation. The team said the base scheme was first unveiled during Super Bowl LX in February 2026, with Miami bringing a more celebratory version for the home event.

Perez and Bottas will also wear Miami-specific race suits. Cadillac said the suits feature “expressive notes of American identity intertwined with understated pride” for the team’s first home-race weekend.

Cassidy Towriss, chief brand advisor for the Cadillac Formula 1 Team, said the design was meant to mark the occasion without losing the car’s established look. “The Cadillac Formula 1 Team’s special Miami Grand Prix livery is a natural extension and speaks without excess. It’s deliberate and confident,” Towriss said.

He added that the team wanted the home-race car to feel both familiar and significant. “This is our first home race, and it mattered to us that fans still recognize what they’ve come to know. I can’t wait for the crowd to see it on track for the first time. There’s no place like home.”

Drew Cukor, president of TWG AI, framed the livery as part of a broader statement about the partnership behind the project. “Miami is a big moment for the team, and we’re proud to have our name on the car for it,” Cukor said.

He said the design was intended to signal more than a one-weekend visual change. “This new livery for the first American race is more than just a design - it’s a statement of identity and intent,” Cukor said, calling it a reflection of “the ambition and forward-thinking spirit that TWG AI brings to the team.”
