Arvid Lindblad unveils Silverstone home-race helmet

Racing Bulls rookie Arvid Lindblad will mark his first Formula 1 home race at this weekend’s British Grand Prix with a special helmet designed with artist Navinder Nangla, turning his childhood ambition and career path into a personal visual story for Silverstone.

The 18-year-old’s design is built around hand-drawn sketches on a white background that are meant to look deliberately childlike, reflecting the version of Lindblad who first believed he could reach Formula 1. His usual sponsor logos remain on the top of the helmet, while the drawings run across the front, sides and back. Under the visor, a scribbled Union Jack sits above the message “Dream Big.”

Lindblad said in a video shared on Instagram that the idea came from the earliest stage of his ambition. “It really was from the age of five, six, it was always what I was working towards,” he said. “The helmet really encompasses my journey.”

He said the childlike style was central to the concept. “When I was five, I believed I could be in Formula 1. This was my dream,” Lindblad said. “That’s why I wanted the images to look really childlike. The phrases of ‘Dream Big’, doing it my own way with my dad, really just capture my journey in the way I saw it from my five-year-old self.”

According to Motorsport-Magazin’s 29 June 2026 report, the illustrations trace key steps in that rise, including Lindblad’s first motocross bike at age three, his 2018 British IAME Cadet Championship title, his move into the Red Bull Junior Team in 2020, and a Formula 3 double win at Silverstone in 2024.

That makes the helmet more than a one-off home-race design. With Silverstone hosting Lindblad’s first home grand prix in Formula 1 from 3 to 5 July, it ties his rookie-season milestone to the progression that brought him onto the grid in the first place.
